I’ve been creating animal art and stories since I was about 5 years old. From ceramic animals to paintings and even illustrated stories . I love creating art & writing surrounded by my Cocker Spaniels – they are my studio mates and muses and my Topaz Cockers have their own page here on my website, too .
My artwork has been displayed in a one-woman show at the prestigious William Secord Gallery, NYC, and at the Morris Museum and The Dinnerware Museum, among many others. I’ve also written and illustrated a children’s picture book “Iris the Architect” and won awards for my art and writing including the top honor from the Dog Writers Association of America, the Maxwell Award.
When I’m not writing or painting or playing with clay, I love spending time with my dogs playing, training or at dog shows. My puppy “Bolt” (his registered name CH Topaz Palm Beach Playboy is named in honor of the artwork at the top of this page and I shared a thrill of a lifetime – showing at Westminster Kennel Club in NYC
I love teaching others about the joys of clay and art and watching them create wonderful treasures…I teach ongoing adult Ceramics classes at the Arts Council of Princeton on Thursday nights and other classes and workshops throughout the year for children and adults, including summer camp. Visit theArts Council of Princeton website and search for my name for an updated list.
One of the great joys in my work is hearing stories and memories about clients’ dogs and creating special pieces to capture their essence. My hope is to bring nearly as much joy through my artwork as the actual animal brings, or brought, to its family.
Please visit my Contact Us page or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to tell me about your special pet so I may begin creating a timeless treasure for you!
Warmest Wishes to you and your fur family!
