Lark got to spend time with the "big dogs" - Grandma Gigi and Dad Lincoln - for a while each day for a couple of weeks. And, she started learning how to sit, down, walk nicely on a lead, go up and down stairs...right before it was time for her family to come take her home on Father's Day. Liza seems a lot more comfortable seeing her baby Lark go off to her new adventures.. Lark will be doing all sorts of performance activities as she gets older with a very active and happy family filled with lots of children and love. |

When Desiree went
BEST IN MATCH at the Cocker Spaniel Club of New Jersey's Specialty Match on June 27 in Paramus, NJ!!!
What an exciting and fun-filled day for Desiree and me! Having your pup win at such a young age (she had just turned 3 months old on June 22!) is a thrill beyond belief. There were so many really nice, and much older, cocker spaniels there that day that I never thought we had a chance..but Desiree really put on a fine show and led me around the ring for her win ;-)

At right, the final line-up, one winner from each of the three varieties of cocker spaniels. The judge asked us all to go around together so she could evaluate side gaits and had the audience clapping. Desiree stacked nicely waiting for everyone in front to start moving and kept her cool ;-) |
